I would like to extend thanks to the Dallas C# SIG, to Improving Enterprises, and to attendees for hosting my talk on Windows Installer and WiX the previous Thursday. The audience was well-engaged and sourced a number of excellent questions. The primary goal — to increase awareness of Windows Installer and how to use it — certainly was achieved. Hopefully, at least a few attendees will download WiX solve some problems with it. With some luck, there will be at least one less bad installer foisted upon the world.
